Supergroup “Pop All-Star Band” – featuring members of Arcade Fire, Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon, and The Strokes’ bassist Nikolai Fraiture – performed for the first (and sadly, last) time on Saturday night.
As the halftime show for charity event Pop vs. Jock, they covered both The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” and Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight”. Watch the videos below.
Pop vs. Jock is an annual star-studded basketball game organized by Win and Will Butler of Arcade Fire. The event pits a team of musicians and entertainers against a group of college basketball players in a b-ball game for the ages. All proceeds go to DJ Sports Club, a charity organization that offers sports and education programs to Montreal youth.
