Watch: Montreal’s No Joy share video for new track ‘Four’

Montreal’s No Joy have shared a video for their new trip hop-inspired track, “Four.”

The new clip revolves around Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk) visual artist Ashley Diabo at her home in Kahnawake. “To appreciate Ashley at home, hoping to inspire all to embrace the love and inspiration of their home the way Ashley reminds us every day,” principal songwriter Jasamine White-Gluz explains. “She has a special gift to make the everyday more and better and magical.”

Everyone involved in the video, including Diabo, No Joy, and Jodi Heartz, are encouraging listeners to donate to organizations like Canadian Roots Exchange, Native Women’s Association of Canada, True North Aid, and Unist’ot’en Camp.

No Joy’s forthcoming album Motherhood is set for release on August 21st via Hand Drawn Dracula.
