In celebration of Willie Nelson's birthday

In celebration of Willie Nelson’s birthday, Nathaniel Rateliff has shared a video for “Willie’s Birthday Song.”

The new Rett Rogers-directed clip, which was shot in isolation, features performances from Nelson’s sister Bobbie on piano; Nelson’s famed harmonica player Mickey Raphael; The Night Sweats’ Patrick Meese, Mark Shusterman and Jeff Dazey; Jonathan Tyler; Matt Pynn. The track also has background vocals from Matthew Logan Vasquez, Nikki Lane, Courtney Marie Andrews, and Nelson’s sons Lukas and Micah.

The new track will appear on the B-side of a limited 7-inch that will be released this summer alongside an A-side that’s a duet between Rateliff and Willie. Proceeds from the 7-inch will support Farm Aid and StrongHearts Native Helpline.
