Watch: Partner Perform Live in the Stiegl Hidden Studio

Watch Partner perform "Born to Rock", "Comfort Zone", and "Creature in the Sun" live for Indie88 in the Stiegl Hidden Studio.

Partner released what might be the funnest record of 2017, In Search of Lost Time. Formed by best friends Josée Caron and Lucy Niles, they describe their band as “part musical act, part teenage diary, and 100% queer, Partner is unflinching in its exploration of intimacy, friendship, sexuality, drugs, and the existential predicament of being a lesbian barista in the year 2017.”

The duo have worked together for years in previous bands in Sackville, New Brunswick. They’ve since relocated to Windsor, Ontario, where Partner creates their infectious brand of rock, channeling influences that range from ’90s alternative bands like Weezer and Dinosaur Jr, to classic guitar rock like AC/DC, to the “lesbian superfecta” of k.d. lang, Melissa Etheridge, and Tegan and Sara.

Partner visited Indie88 and blew the roof off the Stiegl Hidden Studio, performing “Born to Rock”, “Comfort Zone” and “Creature in the Sun”.
