Phoebe Bridgers took part in a livestream from home for Pitchfork’s Instagram, where she debuted a new track called “I Know the End.”
The livestream performance saw Bridgers delivering select tracks from both Stranger in the Alps and her forthcoming album Punisher. Toward the end of the performance, Bridgers even played a cover of the late John Prine’s “Summer’s End” as a tribute to the renowned folk artist, who passed away on April 7th.
“He’s one of the most important people on the planet to me,” Bridgers explains. “I was lucky enough to see him a couple times. This is from his last record, it’s one of my favourite songs ever.”

Punisher is set for release on June 19th via Dead Oceans.
