Watch: PUP head 40 years into the future for new ‘Kids’ video

New LP Morbid Stuff is out April 5th

Local punk heroes PUP have delivered a new Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux-directed music video for their single “Kids,” from their forthcoming new record Morbid Stuff. The video is set in the year 2059, and sees the band reuniting in old age.

“Jeremy cooked up this hilarious concept of what all of our lives would be like 40 years in the future,” explains frontman Stefan Babcock in a release. “Our goal was to sorta set viewers up for this happy feel-good ending, and then at the last minute, crush them with darkness. Just like life in the present, most things in the future will probably turn out shit, or, if we’re really lucky, fine at best.”

Catch PUP live in Toronto for two shows at the Danforth Music Hall June 7 and 8, if you were lucky enough to score tickets!

Morbid Stuff is set for release on April 5th.
