Watch: Pussy Riot, Dorian Electra share bloody video for glitchy new collaborative track ‘Toxic’

Featuring production from 100 gecs' Dylan Brady

Pussy Riot have shared a video for their new Dorian Electra collaboration, “Toxic.”

The track sees Pussy Riot and Dorian Electra embracing a rave-worthy hyperpop, featuring some glitchy production from 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady. “Care about yourself, cherish your mental health, and stay away from relationships that poison you! Amen,” Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova writes in the YouTube description.

While the song’s lyrics sees Tolokonnikova singing of a relationship gone bad, delivering lines like “You are my daily poison, so annoying/ You’re even more toxic than my employer,” the accompanying video is packed with gore and blood. The clip sees Tolokonnikova singing along to the track as blood pours out of her mouth.

The new track follows Pussy Riot’s recently released video for “Rage,” which saw the band calling for the release of opposition leader ALexei Navalny and all political prisoners, including their own band member Masha Alekhina.
