Watch: Pussy Riot share video for political new track ‘Rage’

They're calling for the release of Russian political prisoners

Pussy Riot have shared a video for their new track “Rage,” which arrives amid Russian protests over the arrest of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

“Imagine that Trump stayed in the office for the 2nd time and he jailed [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] and her supporters,” Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova explains. “What’s happening in Russia is outrageous and unacceptable. Putin must go. He’s one insane, sad, lonely, and corrupt man who is dangerous for society.”

The track sees Pussy Riot calling for the release of Navalny and all political prisoners, including their own band member Masha Alekhina, who is under house arrest and facing two years in jail for posting about and participating in protests. As part of the release, Pussy Riot are asking fans to participate in a campaign demanding the release of Russian political prisoners by posting any of these 10-second clips or this photo with the hashtags #FreeNavalny #FreePussyRiot #FreePoliticalPrisoners #БЕСИТ.
