Winnipeg’s Royal Canoe have just released a video for their new single ‘Peep This,’ and it was conceived, directed, and shot on an iPhone.
The video, which was shot entirely by the band without a budget, was released exclusively on Apple Music. “For the ‘Peep This’ video, we found ourselves in a time-crunch,” the band explains in a statement. “Instead of scrambling to call in a million favours and spend loads of money that we didn’t have, we hunkered down and attempted to make a video with a $0 budget all on our own.”

Their upcoming album Waver is set for release on January 25th, and it finds the band exploring new terrain as they look at more of an eerie, ominous theme.
