Watch: Sharon Van Etten, Jeff Goldblum perform ‘Let’s Face the Music and Dance’ on ‘Kimmel’

The track comes off of Goldblum's 'I Shouldn't Be Telling You This'

Jeff Goldblum and Sharon Van Etten have taken their jazzy track “Let’s Face the Music and Dance” to Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The pair’s performance of the 1936 Irvin Berlin track sees Goldblum delicate, flickering piano lines as Van Etten croons lines like, “There may be trouble ahead/ But while there’s music and moonlight and love and romance/ Let’s face the music and dance” atop a groovy bass. The performance is perfectly jazzy, feeling almost as if you stumbled across the duo in a small bar, as they deliver a slick rendition of the tune.
