Anyway Gang, made up of Sam Roberts, Hollerado’s Menno Versteeg, Sloan’s Chris Murphy, and Tokyo Police Club’s Dave Monks, have announced their self-titled debut album, which is set for release on November 29th. As part of the announcement, the indie rockers have dropped a video for their new track “Big Night.”
“Anyway Gang is a Frankenstein’s monster of a band with stitched-on limbs provided by Chris, Menno, Sam, and Dave,” Roberts explains. “The beast is brainless of course, but it’s gonna be a wild ride!”
When you listen to “Big Night,” you’ll definitely hear the influences from each member’s respective other bands. With gritty guitar lines, ambient synths, a driven drum beat, and slightly processed, raucous vocals, this catchy track is sure to be a staple on all of your playlists. The Accompanying video follows a group of young boys playing video games and eating snacks.
