While out on tour alongside Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the Smashing Pumpkins performed a cover of James Taylor’s “Fire And Rain.”
“Fire And Rain” is from Taylor’s 1970 sophomore record Sweet Baby James, and the Smashing Pumpkins have added their own modern twist to the tune. Footage has surfaced of them performing the track in Camden last week, which sees the band performing a quintessential Pumpkins-style extended instrumental introduction before delving into the heart of the track.
