Toronto’s own Strumbellas have been making waves with their single “Spirits,” gearing up for the release of their third album, Hope.
Strumbellas have just shared a new video for “Spirits,” which the band says was inspired by the funeral scene in the 1973 James Bond film, Live and Let Die.
Filmed on location St. Aidan’s Anglican Church, the video has the band accompanied by a group of spirited characters in costume, celebrating in a New Orleans-like funeral. Take a look at the video, directed by Daniel AM Rosenberg below via Billboard:
Hope is due out April 22nd via Glassnote Records.
