Watch: The 1975 performs ‘I Like America & America Likes Me’ on ‘The Late Late Show’

Keep your eyes peeled for their upcoming record 'Notes on a Conditional Form'

The 1975 took to James Cordon’s The Late Late Show on Monday night where they performed “I Like America & America Likes Me.”

The energetic, art pop performance saw Healy hop on top of Corden’s desk as his voiced cracked with a sense of urgency beneath the AutoTuned track, singing lines like “I’m scared of dying/ You’re set on fire/ Am I a liar?/ No gun required.” Throughout the performance, Healy appeared to playfully use every piece of the set while wailing lines into the microphone.

Their forthcoming album may be their second of 2019, and is set to be named Notes on a Conditional Form.
