Watch: The Beaches share video for ‘Blow Up,’ release new EP ‘Future Lovers’

An explosive new video and EP from the Toronto rockers

Toronto rockers The Beaches have returned with their new EP, Future Lovers, and today they’ve also shared a video for “Blow Up.”

The video for “Blow Up” encapsulates the raw energy of Future Lovers, with colourful shots of the band members performing mundane tasks until they slowly, manically lose their cool, breaking dishes, pouring coffee everywhere, and setting the place on fire. The rowdy new EP, which was recorded during the sessions for The Professional, is quintessential Beaches, with frenzied guitar-riffs and unapologetic vocals that are sure to get you thrashing around the room.

“The pandemic gave us the opportunity to look at some of these songs and give them some new Beaches twists before they were released,” lead singer Jordan Miller explains. “You know, we’ve kind of all matured a little being stuck at home for over a year.”
