From weirdly shiny fur to horrible pop culture references, including Jim Carrey calling someone “basic” in the most elaborate way possible as Dr. Robotnik, this trailer is definitely going to haunt your memories of the beloved video game character. “Look at this,” Sonic says as an ambush of missiles hover around him. “I took nine million steps today.” Yes, that is, in fact, a real line from the brief, painstaking clip.
