Watch: The Dirty Nil share video for new single ‘Doom Boy,’ announce forthcoming album ‘Fuck Art’

'Fuck Art' is set for release later this year

Hamilton, Ontario rockers The Dirty Nil have announced their third studio album Fuck Art, which is set for release later this year via Dine Alone Records. As part of the announcement, The Dirty Nil have shared a video for their new single “Doom Boy.”

The thrashing new track revolves around metal-influenced riffs and pop-punk vocal melodies, as frontman Luke Bentham sings about listening to Slayer in the back of a minivan. “Doom Boy” is so rowdy that Bentham even ripped a hole in his pants in the studio while recording it. “I still have the pants to prove it!” Bentham says.

“Without parallel, ‘Doom Boy’ is the most dangerous video we’ve ever made,” Bentham says. “When we were told that all we had to do was return the shell of the van to get half our money back, all hell broke loose. Between the Roman candles, vintage mini bikes and minivan mayhem, I was quite surprised that we only had a few injuries by the end of the night. Do NOT attempt any of the antics performed in the ‘Doom Boy’ video. You’ve been warned.”
