Watch: The Drew Thomson Foundation drop video for ‘Karma’

'Karma' is the opening track off their self-titled album

Following the release of their self-titled album The Drew Thomson Foundation last September, the alt-rock artist just dropped a video for the opening track “Karma.”

The Drew Thomson Foundation is a project led by Single Mothers’ frontman Drew Thomson. The video features a day in the life of Thomson as he keeps experiencing various inconveniences, like his car not starting or his debit card getting declined. The story is intercut with clips of his band playing the gritty, ’90s-inspired track.

“‘Karma’ is a song about a person being so blissfully unaware that they float through life, with things easily falling in their lap – and in turn that ease and confidence then pushes people close away,” Thomson explains. “It’s kind of about some people I know and kind of not. “This should be easy, you just want to love me!”
