Watch: The first trailer for ‘Birds of Prey’ sees Harley Quinn ’emancipating’ the women of Gotham

'Birds of Prey' hits theatres on February 7, 2020

The first full-length trailer for Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is here, and it sees a hammer-wielding Harley Quinn emancipating the women of Gotham.

The trailer for Birds of Prey, which is a spin off from 2016’s Suicide Squad, reveals Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and the rest of the Birds, including Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Huntress, and Rosie Perez’s Detective Renee Montoya. Additionally, we get a glimpse at Chris Messina as the maniacal Victor Zsasz and Ewan McGregor’s Black Mask.

“You know what a harlequin is? A harlequin’s role is to serve,” Harley Quinn says drunkenly in the trailer. “It’s nothing without a master. And no one gives two shits who we are beyond that.”
