Watch: The first trailer for musical comedy ‘Yesterday’ follows a man who lives in a world that’s never heard of The Beatles

The film is set for release on June 28

Acclaimed writer and director Danny Boyle of Slumdog Millionaire and Trainspotting is back with his new feature film, Yesterday, and the first trailer has arrived.

The film follows struggling singer-songwriter Jack Malik who, after a freak bus accident and a worldwide blackout, is the only person in the entire world who remembers the Beatles. After failing to find any record of them online, Malik becomes a star by playing famed songs like “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude,” and “Something.”
