25 years after the Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter the Wu-Tang was released, a documentary about the Staten Island rap group’s legacy is coming out. The first trailer for the Shomi Patwary directed documentary is here.
The project, For the Children: 25 Years of Enter the Wu-Tang, explores the origin of the 1993 record and the roll it plays in modern hip-hop culture. The trailer, which was released today, features members of the Wu discussing their position as rap veterans, and cameos from A$AP Mob’s Rocky and Ferg.
