The first glimpse at the new Prison Break Fox mini series reveals that Michael Scofield is most definitely alive.

The season 4 finale back in 2009 led viewers to believe that Scofield had died, ending the series without closure for six years! Now, in a surprising plot twist, Michael finds himself in a Moroccan prison, leaving his brother Lincoln and some of the old gang to break him out.
