Watch: The First trailer for Stephen King’s ‘Pet Sematary’ Remake is Here

Things are getting spooky

The first trailer of Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kölsch’s reimagining of Stephen King’s novel Pet Sematary is here and it’s super eerie.

Any fans of King’s 1983 novel or Mary Lambert’s 1989 adaptation would be able to recognize the story with the Creed family moving to their new rural home.

The trailer follows terrifying children dressed in animal costumes, isolated graveyards, speeding cars, and dark shadows. At the end, you can hear John Lithgow as Jud Crandall saying, “Sometimes dead is better.”

Check out the creepy preview for the horror film below.

Pet Sematary is due on April 5th, starring John Lithgow, Jason Clark, Amy Seimetz, Jeté Laurence, and twins Hugo and Lucas Lavoie.
