The National are out promoting their forthcoming album I Am Easy To Find alongside an accompanying Mike Mills-directed film, and last night they took to the stage at NYC’s Beacon Theatre where they performed every track off of the record.
According to Brooklyn Vegan, the seasoned indie giants were joined by an expansive set of collaborators such as Julien Baker, This Is The Kit’s Kate Stables, James McAlister, Mina Tindle, the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, and a string section featuring Yuki Numata Resnick. Several clips from the performance have surfaced online, such as renditions of “Not In Kansas,” “Oblivion,” and “Dust Swirls In Strange Light.”
