The Strumbellas have shared a stunning video for their new single, “Greatest Enemy.”
The new tune is all about the importance of wellness, and using music as a foundation for support, as The Strumbellas continue their effort to bring forward a conversation about mental health. In fact, The Strumbellas are working with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) for the release of “Greatest Enemy” to raise awareness and offer opportunities for viewers and listeners to donate.
The accompanying video, which was created by Toronto-based animator Luca Tarantini, tells the tale of someone struggling with inner demons as they make their way through a captivating, yet dangerous environment.

“‘Greatest Enemy’ is about how sometimes the toughest battle is the one you have with yourself,” frontman Simon Ward explains. “The Strumbellas had a rough start to 2020 with canceled tours and mental health struggles, and then the pandemix happened. This is a song about facing the one fight you can’t run from.”
