Watch: The White Stripes share live video for ‘Ball and Biscuit,’ announce ‘Greatest Hits’ album

The standard version of the album is set for release on December 4

The White Stripes have finally announced a greatest hits album, which is set for release on December 4th via Third Man/Columbia. To preview The White Stripes Greatest Hits, Jack and Meg White released a live video for “Ball and Biscuit,” which was filmed in Tokyo on October 22nd, 2003.
 


While a tracklist has not yet been revealed, the album is set to contain 26 songs, and it will even be available in expanded vinyl format through Third Man’s most recent Vault subscription package.

The Vault release will come with an extra third LP full of B-sides, and that LP will be pressed on splattered red, white and black wax. One of the LPs will be pressed on white vinyl and the other on red. It will also feature three extra Rob Jones prints and lyric magnets, and the signup deadline for the Vault is October 31st.
