After Stan Lee passed away late last year, President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige revealed that they had recorded and filmed a variety of cameos with Lee for forthcoming Marvel flicks. Now, Sony Picture Imageworks’ Senior Animator Nick Kondo has just unveiled a secret second Stan Lee cameo in the animated movie, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.
In the movie, there is a first obvious appearance after the death of Peter Parker, where protagonist Miles Morales heads to a comic book store to buy a Spider-Man outfit, and the clerk in the store is Stan Lee. Lee then points to a sign that says no refunds. Earlier this week, Kondo revealed that there is, in fact, a second appearance by Lee in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The scene sees Morales getting used to his powers, soaring through the streets of Manhattan, and passing a rattling train where one of the passengers is Lee himself.
