Watch: Thom Yorke performs solo rendition of Radiohead’s ‘Like Spinning Plates’ for first time in 9 years

While out supporting his recent album ANIMA, Thom Yorke performed Radiohead’s “Like Spinning Plates” live solo for the first time in nine years.

On Sunday at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, he performed the Amnesiac track for the first time in almost a decade. Yorke’s solo rendition of the track revolved around an elaborate, full piano line as his silky, eerie vocal lines rose to the forefront, singing lyrics like, “While you make pretty speeches/ I’m being cut to shreds/ You feed me to the lions/ A delicate balance.”
