Watch: Trailer for The Doors’ Self-Made Documentary ‘Feast of Friends’

Filmed during their 1968 tour, the doc is finally being released 46 years later

During their 1968 summer tour, legendary acid rockers The Doors started a documentary about their life on the road – but never finished it. Now – after 46 years – the documentary is complete, and being released on November 11.

The DVD and Blu-ray editions of Feast of Friends will come with exclusive bonus features, including never-before-seen footage and recordings from the band’s August 1967 performance in Toronto.

The documentary was remastered from a copy that allegedly belonged to enigmatic Doors frontman Jim Morrison. Legend has it, Morrison dropped the footage off at a friend’s house mere days before his tragic death in July of 1971.
