Watch: TUNS brave the freezing cold in video for new track ‘We Stand United’

Canadian indie rock supergroup TUNS, which features Sloan’s Chris Murphy, The Super Friendz’s Matt Murphy, and The Inbreds’ Mike O’Neill, are gearing up to release their sophomore album, Duly Noted, on March 26th via Murderecords. To preview they collection, they’ve shared a video for their new single, “We Stand United.”

The new track is Matt Murphy’s “We Stand United,” which comes packed with a power pop guitar groove and some smooth, classic indie rock vocals. The new track is a “positive message of unity in these often divisive times,” TUNS explain.

The new clip sees TUNS braving the freezing cold, filming it just last week in Chris Murphy’s backyard in Toronto. The old-school video sees TUNS performing in the chilly winter weather, featuring snow, fire, and fogging glasses.

“TUNS may have gone overboard on the Canadiana in their latest video,” the band explains. “Fully decked out in tuque, winter coats, boots and scarves, they inadvertently made a video that seems to be attempting to answer the age old question: What if Bob and Doug McKenzie had a drummer? #beauty.”
