Watch: Vampire Weekend performs ‘Sympathy’ on ‘Colbert’

They performed the track while out promoting 'Father Of The Bride'

While out promoting Father Of The Bride, Vampire Weekend took to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform “Sympathy.”

The performance sees Vampire Weekend taking more of a funky feel, with layers of both acoustic and electric guitar as frontman Ezra Koenig sings lines like “Now we’ve got that sympathy/ What I’m to you/ You are to me/ Let’s go.” The band bopped along to the rowdy, driven rendition, as they delivered a quirky, almost Johnny Cash-style tune.
