Watch: Vancouver’s Noble Oak shares video for new track ‘Morning,’ announces debut album ‘Horizon’

'Horizon' is set for release in spring 2020

Vancouver electro dream-pop artist Noble Oak has announced his forthcoming debut album Horizon, and as part of the announcement, he has shared a video for his new track “Morning.”

“‘Morning’ is an acknowledgment of the entrapment we feel in our daily lives,” Noble Oak explains of the track. The energetic, shimmering track revolves around bright keys and a driven drum beat as Noble Oak delivers lines like, “Is it crazy to think that I’m going crazy/ Is it sane to be scared?/ Unaware of/ Everything that’s going on around you.”

The Nancy Lee-directed video is inspired by the ’90s television series ReBoot, and it takes place in three distinct worlds fully designed in virtual reality.
