Watch: Walter Martin, Matt Berninger release video for funny new charity single ‘Quarantine Boogie (Loco)’

Martin's urging people to join his City Harvest team

Former Walkmen frontman Walker Martin has shared a hilarious new charity single with The National’s Matt Berninger called “Quarantine Boogie (Loco).”

Martin sings of spending “all afternoon sanitizing my hand sanitizer” and spending his evenings watching “some guy from Death Cab for Cutie do a concert in his pyjamas.” Berninger only appears on the tune with his deep vocals to echo the word “loco” as Martin confesses he’s “gone a bit loco.”

“I made this song hoping to make enough of a fool of myself to inspire people to join my City Harvest team and donate money to their cause,” Martin explains in a statement. “They are doing amazing work feeding people in NYC right now, and helping get food to public school kids who rely on school breakfast and lunch. I hope you can laugh at my song during these hard times and please join my City Harvest team and donate here.”
