While Weezer are still set to release their hard rock album Van Weezer on May 7th, they recently announced that they’ll first be releasing another album called OK Human on January 29th. Today, Rivers Cuomo and co. have shared a video for their new track “All My Favorite Songs.”
The forthcoming album’s title is a not to Radiohead’s OK Computer, but the music is set to be inspired by The Beach Boys’ baroque pop sounds on Pet Sounds.
“All my favorite songs are slow and sad,” Cuomo sings on the track atop some stunning string arrangements, as the band stray from their recent anthemic rock sound. The accompanying video sees the band decked out in some retro outfits, performing the track in studio before a boy’s social media scrolling begins to unfold in real life.
