Watch: Wilco performs ‘Love is Everywhere (Beware)’ on Seth Meyers

"Love is Everywhere" comes off the Ode to Joy album

American alternative rock icons Wilco performed on The Late Show with Seth Meyers last night. Wilco performed the track “Love Is Everywhere (Beware)” and delivered a tenderhearted rendition of the song.
The track comes off their Ode to Joy album, which was released last month, making it the band’s first LP since 2016’s Schmilco.

In a recent interview with the Rolling Stone Music Podcast, Tweedy spoke about the unexpected conceptual thread that helped in unifying the album’s sound. Tweedy said “the unifying kind of overall blanket concept was: What if we didn’t have record collections? What if we were relying upon an oral history of music and had to kind of recreate rock music from some distant memory or some handed down lore?”

Frontman Jeff Tweedy’s soft vocals matched perfectly with Nels Cline’s finger tapping licks on the guitar.
