This isn’t the first time the Mercury Prize-nominated group Wolf Alice has impressed us with their softer side, and we doubt it will be the last.
Seting up shop this time in NPR‘s “Tiny Desk Series,” (which isn’t so much a tiny desk than a really crowded intimate room) the alternative Brit-rockers shared a couple of stripped down songs from their latest album My Love Is Cool. Normally juxtaposed with the band’s grittier, tenacious sound, singer Ellie Rowsell’s glimmering childlike vocals lead the pack through in these stripped down versions of “Fluffy,” “Turns To Dust,” and “Bros.”
