After wrapping up a European tour that followed the release of their 2015 album On Blonde, Yukon Blonde frontman Jeff Innes chose to move to Madrid, Spain instead of flying back home to Canada. For a few months he lived in San Bernardino, Malasana, working on new material. Soon they headed back to British Columbia to finish the writing process with Steve Bays of Hot Hot Heat producing. The band released songs “Crazy” and “Emotional Blackmail” shortly after, and a full length album will follow this year.
The band joined us in the Collective Arts Black Box, managing to squeeze in every member of the band, to perform the two new tracks live.
