WayHome Music and Arts Festival is encouraging people to take advantage of the free, on-site camping that comes with their passes – and they’re making it really enticing.

THE EXPERIENCE
They’ve got four unique stages, markets, silent discos, hiking and biking trails, never-before-seen art installations and a bunch of other unique opportunities to keep attendees occupied between concerts.

Executive Director Shannon McNevan says:

“WayHome Music and Arts is all about the fan experience. From the moment ticket holders get in their car to come to the festival, we want it to be smooth sailing. That means ensuring ease of arrival, through traffic planning, RFID bracelets for faster processing at the gates and getting them situated at their campsites quickly. We want to immerse them with music, art and culture for the weekend and build a strong international festival community. We’re encouraging everyone to camp on-site so fans can ignite their own imagination and truly discover themselves in everything WayHome.”

THE SERVICES
When they get to the festival, attendees will have access to a general store, an information booth, 24 hour showers, bathrooms and medical services, a daily farmers market, and 24 hour food and beverage vendors right close to their campground.

THE STAGES
The four stages are called WayHome (with state of the art HD audio/video capabilities), WayBright (a quieter corner of the venue where fans can watch the sun set while checking out some pre-headliner sets), WayBold (with a massive tent for constant dancing), and WayAway (right in the middle of the forest, featuring late night and surprise performances).

THE VENDORS
For snacks, there will be over 30 food vendors offering gourmet options to restaurant pop ups to comfort classics. The WayMarket, designed by Etsy, will feature 20 local sellers that offer handmade and/or vintage items from 11 am – 7 pm. Etsy’s also offering the chance to explore your creative side, with interactive art and a picnic site.

Smirnoff is also building a three day, multi-floor house party called #ThisIsHappening, with different activities designed to shape an experience to remember.

THE TECH
There are also wifi zones with bean bag chairs and hammocks to chill out while you browse for free.

Finally, Samsung Canada is celebrating the launch of the GALAXY S6 by asking fans to activate their RFID bracelet and stop by a Samsung location for exclusive content to be e-mailed to fans later as their own personal highlight reel.
