Wheel of the Week: The Fat Mac Vegan Pie

Just a few steps away from Christie Pits is a punk AF pizza and bake shop offering up some of the most delicious vegan eats you can find in Toronto. Apiecalypse Now! – most known for their sweet vegan treats — is home to a plethora of unique pizzas that even your most carnivorous friends would crave.

This week we’re highlighting a pie that’s been garnering a lot of buzz: The Fat Mac. A similar concept and flavor palette to the ever-popular Doomie’s Vegan Big Mac, The Fat Mac offers the taste of your once beloved fast-food burger with none of the animal cruelty.

The Pie: The Fat Mac
What’s In It: Ground “not beef”, dill pickle slices, diced sweet onion, vegan cheddar cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce and special vegan fat mac sauce all on a sesame seed crust.
Style: Vegan Thin Crust
Get It: $18.50 for a 12” Pizza at 735 Bloor St. W open from Tues-Saturday 12pm-11:30pm and Sunday 12pm-8pm.
