St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, so get ready green beer lovers! Luckily for Toronto, the TTC is offering up a safe option for you to get to and from your holiday parties this March 17th.
The transit service has collaborated with Corby Spirits & Wine and Jameson Irish Whiskey to offer up free rides on March 17th on the 501 Queen, 514 Cherry, and 504 King streetcar routes starting at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 2:30 a.m. In fact, all of the fare machines will be covered up, so you won’t even need to tap your Presto card (even though, in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, it’s green).
Big thanks to @CorbySW and @jamesonwhiskey for once again giving Torontonians a safer way to get around on #StPatricksDay2019 ! 501 Queen and both branches of 504 King will be free from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Sláinte!! pic.twitter.com/4Kqnp2Rd4t

The free service is offered up to the city in an effort to prevent drunk driving, and has been proven to reduce the number of drunk drivers.
