AR/CO – “Night Feels”

“Night Feels” is the latest dancefloor-ready track from AR/CO, the duo comprised of Leo Stannard and Mali-Ko. It’s a song about finding the perfect match.

“It’s about the perfect person who matches your late-night settings,” the duo said. “Whether it looks like a sweaty festival or club or mid-week chill – it’s somebody who helps makes the nights into lifelong memories. This song is a shout-out to our friends and family! We wrote it in a few hours with Kyle in sunny LA, Nick and Shaun helped us wrap it up. It feels like year-long good times to us, so we really wanted to share that.”

Cam Kahin – “compass”

Toronto-based musician and producer Cam Kahin formally joined Dine Alone Records’ roster this week and shared his debut single for the label, “compass.”

Gord Downie & Bob Rock – “Lustre Parfait”

“Lustre Parfait” is the first single from the long-rumoured collaboration between Gord Downie and Bob Rock, with an album arriving at some point next year. The track was composed by Rock and features lyrics and vocals from Downie

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – “Pretty Boy”

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have returned with a new single, “Pretty Boy.” The song will appear on a new album slated for next year. The track was co-produced with Paul “Strangeboy” Stacey, and it features Johnny Marr on guitar.

Gladie – “Born Yesterday”

Gladie, featuring former Cayetana member Augusta Koch, have shared another advance cut from their forthcoming sophomore record Don’t Know What You’re In Until You’re Out, which is set to arrive on November 18.

Softcult – “Drain”

Canadian shoegaze outfit Softcult have returned with a new single, “Drain,” taking aim at corporate greed and the climate crisis. The song arrives with a video directed, produced, and edited by one half of the twin sibling duo, Mercedes Arn-Horn.

Softcult will release a new EP, see you in the dark, next spring.

Future Islands – “Last Christmas”

With Halloween out of the way, Baltimore, Maryland-based synth pop outfit Future Islands are leading the rush into Christmas. The quartet has unveiled a cover of Wham!’s 1984 classic “Last Christmas.”

White Reaper – “Pages”

Garage-punk outfit White Reaper have announced a new album, Asking For A Ride. The follow-up to 2019’s You Deserve Love arrives January 27 via Elektra. The band shared a video for the track “Pages” from the forthcoming album.

Killer Mike – “TALK’N THAT SHIT!”

Killer Mike has released “Talk’n That Shit!,” which follows his recent “Run” single, the rapper’s first solo release in 10 years.

“The song is self explanatory. With the video I wanted show the freedom and beauty in being able to turn up in spite of all the fuck-shit. That upsets the bourgeoisie even more- in spite of all your criticisms we’re gonna live free and stay lit,” states Mike in a release.
