Liam Gallagher – “Come Back To Me”

It might be a Christmas miracle – apparently, Liam Gallagher and “NG” are all good…let’s just hope the NG he mentioned in Twitter is actually his brother Noel. Either way, the Twitter feuds have been great for press regarding his new album As You Were! Here’s Liam’s latest “Come Back To Me.”

Kimbra – “Top Of The World”

You might know New Zealand singer Kimbra as the guest on Gotye’s giant hit “Somebody That I Used to Know” but she’s been releasing her own albums for years. Her third record, Primal Heart, is out January 19th and She’ll be here in Toronto at the Mod Club February 2nd to give you a taste of those new tracks live, and here’s one of them, “Top of the World.”

Alex Lahey – “Every Day`s The Weekend”

Aussie singer-songwriter Alex Lahry is about to become more known on this side of the world, with Spin naming her album one of the best-overlooked records on 2017. Let’s hear what you may have missed out on!

Joywave – “Doubt”

Joywave hail from Rochester, New York and are known for their blend of moody electro-indie-pop-rock. Here’s one all about dealing with self-doubt, called, not surprisingly, “Doubt.”

Mura Masa ft. Bonzai – “What If I Go”

21-year-old producer and songwriter Alex Crossan has worked with everyone from A$ap Rocky to Charli XCX. His stage name, Myra Masa, by the way, is inspired by Japanese sword-smith Muramasa Sengo. Here’s one you may have missed in 2017, “What if I Go.”
