The Decemberists – “Severed”

The Decemberists are back! Their eighth studio album, I’ll Be Your Girl is out March 16 which will give you plenty of time to learn the lyrics and sing your heart out at their Sony Centre show May 30th!


Hollerado – “Eloise”

Excellent locals, Hollerado, are heading on tour with Portugal the Man next month, which is quite an awesome pairing, don’t you think? Here’s another singalong gem from Hollerado that is guaranteed to get stuck in your head!

Jade Bird – “Lottery”

Jade Bird is one to watch in 2018, in fact, this track got 600 thousand spins on Spotify in a week. Not too shabby! Hopefully you saw the 19-year-old British singer at the Horseshoe in November, because she’ll probably be playing a bigger venue next time she’s in town!

Close Talker – “Reptiles”

Take note! Saskatoon rockers Close Talker will be here in Toronto January 26th with super awesome locals Language Arts at Adelaide Hall.

Mt. Joy – “Silver Lining”

Some things are just meant to be, case in point, this band that got its start when two friends jammed in high school – not thinking music careers were realistic the friends went off to university to pursue other things… but as chance would have it, years later both ended up int he same city, Los Angeles, making music again with some new additions. They named themselves after Mount Joy in Valley Forge National Park.
