Muse – “Something Human”

Finally, Muse have announced their eighth album will be out in November and this new track definitely has more of a, dare I say, folk vibe to it?
According to Matt Belamy this one’s about “the need to reset and re-engage with our human emotions.”

deadmau5 feat. Rob Swire – “Monophobia”

One of Deadmau5’s big crossover tracks “Ghosts N Stuff” was his first collaboration with Rob Swire back in 2009, and now it’s time to check out the latest track they’ve cooked up. This one covers the topic of mental health and being there for your friends, all while being a super dance party.

Imagine Dragons – “Natural”

If you ever wanted to know just how popular Imagine Dragons are, they dropped this new track on Youtube and got over 3.5 million views in 48 hours. And if you think this sounds like a sports anthem, you are correct! It will soundtrack his year’s season of US college football on ESPN.

Nilüfer Yanya – “Baby Luv”

Singer songwriter from West London, Nilüfer Yanya grew up listening to everything from The Pixies to Amy Winehouse to Nina Simone and after getting rejected from music colleges, decided to play open mic nights and get her music out there – the rest really is history. She received great reviews at SXSW, The Guardian called her one to watch, and she landed the opening slot on Fleet Foxes tour, so hopefully you saw her set here in Toronto.

The Struts – “Body Talks”

These Brit rockers have swagger, and landed quite the gig opening up for the Foo Fighters. Lucky you, Struts are back in Toronto September 26th at the Opera House. To tide you over until then, this one is rock ‘n’ roll gem!
