The Right Sound for the Right Price

Miike Snow – “My Trigger”

Swedish pop geniuses Miike Snow have a zillion catchy hooks up their sleeves – and their latest album iii (2016) is full of them. If you liked “Genghis Kahn” you’ll like this too – it’s like smooth R&B flavoured bubbles.

Modern Space – “It’s Only a Dream”

Toronto indie band Modern Space released their debut EP Before Sunrise (2016) earlier this year, toured with The Vaccines, were nominated for a SOCAN songwriting prize, and are playing TURF this September. If you can’t wait that long, they’re at the Horseshoe July 15th and their new hot dog and Twister filled video is above.

Elle King – “Good Girls”

Elle King had a break out year with last years’ debut Love Stuff (2015) – and she’s back with something new. This time, on the soundtrack for the upcoming Ghostbusters movie!

X Ambassadors feat. Jamie N Commons – “Low Life”

Has any alternative rock band had as big a year as X Ambassadors? Their nostaligia-inspired album VHS (2015) has taken them around the world since their mentors Imagine Dragons found them. Their songs have been inescapable, and here’s another.

Fitz and The Tantrums – “Roll Up”

If there’s a band that knows how to make you forget your problems and just dance like a silly pants, it’s Fitz & The Tantrums. Their new self-titled album is out now. Here they are, at it again … get ready to move yer bum.
