Emile Haynie – “Falling Apart”
Emile Haynie is a producer from New York who has worked with, well… pretty much everyone. From the roots to Kanye to Eminem to Lana Del Rey, and now he’s made something that’s all about him. His debut album came out in January, it’s called we fall. It’s as full as all-star guests as his producing career has been. In this song you hear from Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt, as we all Brian Wilson. Yes, THAT Brian Wilson…the one form the Beach Boys.
My Morning Jacket – “Big Decision”
May 4th. That’s the day you can grab My Morning Jacket’s seventh studio album. It’ll be called the Waterfall and it comes out just about a month before the band visits Toronto June 6th for Field Trip. Get a head start right now, with the FIRST single from the record.
Young Empires – “So Cruel”

Young Empires wont just be representing their hometown when they play the Field Trip Festival in June – they’ll also be playing some new tunes! They’re currently preparing to release their brand new album, and if the first single is any indication it’s going to be your perfect summer party soundtrack. If you love Passion Pit or Friendly Fires – you’re gonna love this new one from Young Empires, “So Cruel”.
Lobby – “In These Times”

Here’s a brand new Toronto band you may not have heard of yet. Lobby is five musicians who you may have seen playing in other acts over the years if you follow the Toronto indie scene, but have found a home together bringing back an updated, super-chilled out version of glam-rock. You’ll hear influences like Brian Eno and Roxy Music in this one called “In These Times” by Lobby.
Night Riots – “Contagious”
California’s Night Riots sound kind of like if someone made a dance remix of The Killers, or The Cure, — it’s EMOTION! But also kind of a party! Their EP is out now. You can check it out, it’s called Howl. Take a deep breath, this is “Contagious”.
