Of Monsters and Men – “Crystals”
Been four years since Iceland’s Of Monsters and Men released their smash debut record My Head Is An Animal – and they’ve finally returned! Still the same feel – but a little bit more polished this time around. This is the first track they’ve dropped from their upcoming album Beneath The Skin, out June 9.
Yukon Blonde – “Saturday Night”
Just in time for the weather warming up, summery jammers Yukon Blonde are back with a brand new one. You’ll be able to see em live at the Mod Club on April 1st and get down to a more synthy, dance-inspired approach than their previous, straight-up indie rock work-makes sense.

One of the strongest lyricists and most unique sounding singer songwriter voices right now is coming from Australia’s Courtney Barnett. But it’s not just the lyrics- she’s also treating you to some raw, blistering guitar rock in this one. Her album
Hayden – “Nowhere We Cannot Go”
You’ve been having a good cry to singer songwriter Hayden’s introspective, woe-filled tunes since the 90s – but even though his newest track still works for a rainy day, it’s got a glimmer of sunshine and hope in it. His latest is called “Nowhere We Cannot Go”, from his new album Hey Love – out this week.
Will Butler – “Take My Side”
If you were expecting Arcade Fire member Will Butler’s new solo project to sound ANYTHING like Arcade Fire… you-were wrong. But that’s not a bad thing, he’s just doing something totally different. It’s jangly garage rock on his album Policy and he’ll be at the Horseshoe Tavern this week. It’s going to be a lot of fun – I mean, just listen to this.
