Florence and the Machine – “Hunger”

Florence and the Machine will finally release a new record, High As Hope, on June 29. To tide you over, we have “Hunger,” a track she says is “about the ways we look for love in things that are perhaps not love, & how attempts to feel less alone can sometimes isolate us more”

Major Love – “So Good”

Major Love hail from Kingston and have pointed to Motown and the Stax Records roster as inspiration. They were just here for CMW, be sure to check them out live the next time they’re back in town!

Kandle – “Bender”

Montreal’s Kandle creates cinematic and moody music that I always think would be great to soundtrack a James Bond film. Her new album Damned If I Do EP is out May 11!

The Drew Thomson Foundation – “Stay”

Hopefully you know punk band Single Mothers, well now here’s a new side project to come fromt their singer called The Drew Thomson Foundation. He plays the Great Hall May 12th for CMW and here’s a preview!

Jimmy Eat World – “Love Never”

Jimmy Eat World released their album Integrity Blues back in 2016, and if you’ve been waiting for new music – here it is! Hopefully this means they’ll be back in Toronto sooner than later.
