The Revivalists – “Change”
There are many beautiful sounds coming out of New Orleans, and here’s one of them – The Revivalists. After releasing their biggest hit in 2016, Rolling Stone called them a band to watch. Since then, the group added an eighth member and put out their fourth release.
Loony – “Overnight”
Loony’s EP Part 1 came out last month, and according to her, this track “Overnight” investigates the situational drama that comes with living in the city and trying to navigate and find yourself within it.
Flora Cash – “You’re Somebody Else”
This duo got their start years ago when two musicians, one from Minneapolis and the other from Stockholm, commented on each other’s work on SoundCloud. From there, a musical partnership began known as Flora Cash. Though quite popular in Sweden, they’re starting to get traction in North America with this one.
Fast Romantics – “Mexico”
Let’s get local! Fast Romantics promise a new release in 2019, and this track is a taste of what’s to come. This is the band’s first self-produced track, and it’ll sound awesome live when they play the Horseshoe on the 23rd.
MØ – “Blur”
You know MØ as the vocalist on the huge Major Lazer hit “Lean On,” but she’s definitely an amazing electro artist in her own right. The Danish artist’s new record is full of danceable gems like this one, and be sure to check her out on January 23rd at the Danforth!
