Dashboard Confessional – “We Fight”

It has been 8 years since Dashboard Confessional released a new album, but the wait will soon be over! Crooked Shadows, comes out on February 9 and Dashboard will be at the Danforth Music Hall to celebrate March 10th. Here’s their new one, a song all about being positive when dealing with struggles, “We Fight.”

 

Born Ruffians – “Forget Me”

Let’s get local! The great Born Ruffians have announced their new album, Uncle, Duke & The Chief, will be out February 16th. To get you excited for the album, the band has released this new one, complete with a video directed by Leah and Peter from July Talk! single, “Forget Me.”.
 

Jade Bird – “Cathedral”

19 year old British singer songwriter Jade Bird just released a new EP called Something American, and recently wrapped a North American tour at the Horseshoe opening for Son Little where she amazed the audience with her talent and charm. What’s interesting about this one, it was recorded in a church converted into a recording studio and it sounds beautifully haunting. Here’s “Cathedral.”

 

Jacob Banks – “Chainsmoking”

UK Artist Jacob Banks has the beautifully powerful combo of soul and grit and honesty. This new track is, frankly, the only chainsmoking I’ll support.
